Western Smiles

When choosing a new dentist, why is it important to ask if they are an accredited practice?

Currently in Western Australia, there is no requirement for dental practices to be accredited. The accreditation process checks and ensures that a dental practice has strict systems and processes in place to improve the safety and quality of care for patients.

Western Smiles Dental Care is proud to be a QIP accredited dental practice, meaning we have voluntarily adopted the Safety and Quality Health Service Standards into our services. ‘QIP’ stands for Quality Innovation Performance—and we take all three of these concepts very seriously.

Our dental clinic caters specifically to the well-being of our patients by providing high standards of dentistry. As an accredited dental practice, Western Smiles Dental Care regularly undergoes both internal and external audits. Our team is focused on providing excellence in all of the dental services and care we provide.

We know you have many Mirrabooka, WA dentists from which to choose, so having accreditation is just another way we can ensure that you and your family can feel confident about the dental care we provide.

If you have any questions about our accreditation or our dental clinic standards, we welcome your phone call. We are happy to provide more details and talk to you about specifics.

Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risk. Before proceeding, you should discuss options and risks and raise any concerns with your qualified dental health practitioner.
